Community Oriented

We support our local schools, volunteer efforts and non-profit organizations through donations of time and dollars. We also make appearances at local schools at job fairs and conducting mock interviews to help students prepare for looking for jobs.

Agronomy internships

Internships are available throughout the year. We provide a great opportunity to learn about the day-to-day routine of an agronomy salesperson through job shadowing and hands-on experiences. Agronomist – Central City

Job Description: Performs a wide range of clerical duties from assisting customers, billing, selling agronomy products, operating the scale during anhydrous season, and overseeing the summer intern program. Performs related work as required. 

Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm. Overtime & weekends required during the busy seasons.

Tire Technician - Marion

Job Description: Performs a variety of tire service in the shop and on-site. Includes changing tires, patching tires, and adding tubes on heavy farm and construction equipment. Includes light mechanical duties. Performs other work related as required.

Considerable leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgement and initiative.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
                On-call 24/7 for on farm service

Custom Applicator/Operations – Newhall & Central City

Job Description: Operate and maintain custom application equipment i.e. Floater, Sprayer, Anhydrous application. Maintenance on all or any equipment, or facilities that is assigned. Delivery of agronomy or any farm products and/or application equipment to farms. Be able to fulfill any duties assigned by management. 

This job guarantees 40 hours a week year around, but during our busy seasons you will be required to work overtime & weekends. 

Job requirements: High School diploma. Valid driver license with Class B CDL preferred with tanker and hazmat endorsement, custom applicators license or able to obtain all necessary licenses. Farming background preferred, but not required.

Internship Opportunities – Newhall & Central City

Spring and/or Fall: Hands on in the shop, helping with anhydrous (filling and delivering tanks), assisting in the grain department, operating equipment if qualified and interested 

Summer: Crop Scouting. This is a great learning opportunity for college students who are interested in Agronomy and Agriculture
