WINTER WARMTH, YEAR-ROUND SERVICE
Linn Cooperative offers a full range of services and payment programs for our residential, commercial and agricultural propane customers.
INITIATING SERVICE
With four propane routes and five bulk plants, we are responsive and efficient when serving customer needs for propane. All our delivery drivers are certified, and we employ two service technicians as well.
There are a few simple steps to follow to start your propane service:
- Fill out a credit application.
- Once credit is approved, we’ll need to know if your tank is owned or leased. For new service, we may need to arrange to get a tank set. Linn Co-op does sell and lease tanks.
- If your tank is owned, we do a leak check before the first fill as a safety procedure.
DELIVERY OPTIONS
Once your service is ready to go, we’ll work with you to determine how you’d like to handle future deliveries.
Schedule fill
If you opt for this program, our drivers will fill your tank as needed as part of their regular route.
Will-call fill
In this option, it is up to the tank owner to watch the tank and call in when it needs to be filled. Please allow five business days for delivery. Try to call when your tank is at least 20% full; otherwise, additional charges may apply. If the tank goes empty a leak test will need to be conducted before it can be refilled. There also may be rush charges if a fill needs to happen in less than five days.
CONTRACTS
We have payment contracts available to fit your budget. For residential and commercial customers, our two most popular options are prepay or budget billing. We also offer contracts for grain dryer and livestock customers. Contract details are typically available in May or June, and contracts most often run from September-March.
Please select LP Prepay Contract Printable to contract gallons. Then print, and mail to the Marion office with check for full prepaid total amount. Contracts received without a check will not be processed. Call for current LP contract price if after July 15th 2023.
Please select LP No Contract Fillable if you are NOT contracting gallons. Once form is filled out and signed a copy gets emailed to Linn Coop and you. No need to print and mail.

Premium Diesel Fuel
Get the most out of your equipment by using our premium diesel fuels: Ruby Fieldmaster, which is dyed for off road use, and Roadmaster for highway use.
These premium products have been shown to restore power by 4.5%, restore fuel economy by 5%, and clean injectors and boost lubricity to reduce costly downtime.
Gasoline
We’re proud to offer Cenex TOP TIER™ Detergent Gasoline for bulk delivery. We carry 87 octane, E10, and unleaded with no ethanol added. Retail customers can visit our Car Care Center in Marion, IA, for additional choices.
With 2.5 times more detergent than regular fuel, TOP TIER maximizes performance and efficiency for a cleaner engine and fewer trips to the mechanic, all from simply fueling up your tank.
Fuel Contracts
Ask about our spring and fall contract for diesel on the farm. We also offer all-year contracts for commercial accounts.
CENEX TOTAL PROTECTION PLAN
Warranty your new or used equipment for up to 10 years or 10,000 hours when you exclusively use Ruby Fieldmaster diesel and Cenex lubricants. You get unsurpassed coverage, while helping to ensure that only high-quality energy products go into your equipment.
